Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Colour Pencils
The new Cosmetic Colour Pencil line by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics

I feel like I've been contesting with liner all winter long, like this is Westeros and they're the White Walkers north of the Wall, but it's mostly but that my skin has been drier than the Atacama, and it's getting sooo old.

I haven't been able to wear the long-wearing gel liners I was wearing and loving last leap and summer (they're too drying), and the only pencils my lash and water lines are tolerating have been the MAC Eye Kohls…

Until now.

These soft, flossy Corrective Colour Pencils by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics actually remind me a lot of my beloved MAC Kohls. They glide forth my lash lines like aureate medal figure skaters across fresh ice.

Ah…

These pigmented pretties, some of which are canonical for employ on lips and trunk, while the others are for lips, body and eyes, come in 12 shades, all of them matte. The triple threats (eyes, lips and body) are clear Anti-Feathered, slap-up brown Pennyroyal, blackened midnight brown Sybil, true black Tarred, true white Feathered and aquatic blue Pool Boy.

Warm beige Fob, vibrant neon pinkish Anime, true red NSFW, blackened cherry Dahlia, coral Grandma and vibrant magenta Hoochie are the ones that simply similar lips and body…

Then far, considering I tin can't really think of where I'd always wear them on my body, I've been wearing these on my eyes and lips, and I like like 'em, in large function because the formula agrees with me. The aren't drying, which is great, and feel comfortable. Plus, I don't have to use half a dozen layers to become some really intense color (just one or 2), and I tin can wear the eye-safe ones on my h2o lines without my eyes fierce up or my skin feeling tight.

Interestingly, these pencils stay "wet" on the peel for a while — a solid 30 minutes or so — so you tin actually guide and manipulate them if you desire to, and yet I wouldn't call them smudgy, if that makes whatever sense. They but transfer, for lack of a better discussion, less than some of the MAC Centre Kohls (Smolder comes to listen). Like, if I line my upper lash and water lines with black MAC Smolder, Smolder will travel into my crease and smudge along my lower lash lines — something the black OCC liner also does, but to a lesser degree.

That's Tarred on my upper lash and water lines, Sybil on the outer part of my lash lower lash and h2o lines and Pool Boy on the inner part; on my lips is OCC's new Lip Tar in Mannequin

Considering they are quite flossy, they exercise fade a niggling over time… I notice myself touching up near halfway through the solar day with the center-safety pencils on my eyes, and once every three-4 hours for the lip-safe pencils. Withal, that's not bad.

Bottom line, I think these are great, and totally worthy of an everyday makeup bag. I'd love to see OCC release more than of the centre pencil colors, like in some precious stone tones, or perhaps a gold, bronze and pewter. 🙂
